I have over 20 years experience working in a therapeutic capacity with children and young people and I have specialised in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I believe in intervening developmentally and quickly with children and young people, in order to prevent longer term problems and promote resilience, helping and promoting psychological wellbeing and growth. I use a range of therapeutic interventions to fit the child and young person’s developmental stage and needs eg Play therapy, Sandtray therapy, therapeutic story telling, use of Art as Therapy, Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
